Police investigate after child is approached by a male on Walney
POLICE are investigating a reported incident where a child has been approached by a male on Walney.
The incident took place at 6.15pm on Friday in the Oak Head Road area.
The male involved is described as white, around 6 foot tall and dressed in black.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time and ask them to call 101.
Members of the public are advised to report any suspicious activity to police by calling 101, or by emailing 101@cumbria.police.uk , but calling 999 in an emergency.
