Police appeal after car dumped in Walney gorse bushes
POLICE are investigating after a car was taken and dumped in gorse bushes on Walney.
A silver Volkswagen Golf was taken from Tay Court, in Barrow, between Tuesday evening and Thursday at 6.30pm without the owner's knowledge or consent.
The vehicle was found abandoned off-road in gorse bushes at the top of Ocean Road, near to The Round House restaurant, on Walney.
Police are appealing to the public for information about who was driving the vehicle, or about any passengers.
Anyone with information is asked to call Barrow Police on 101, or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
