Man left with severe facial injuries after Walney attack
POLICE are investigating after a man was kicked in the head and punched while he was on the ground.
The attack took place at around 12.30am in the early hours of Sunday July 2 at the crossroads where Central Drive meets the Promenade on Walney.
The victim was kicked in the head by a man and punched a number of times while he was on the floor, leaving him with severe facial injuries.
Several cars are believed to have driven past while the attack was taking place and police are keen to speak to any witnesses.
