POLICE have arrested a man in connection with an alleged assault in which a 10-year-old boy was shoved down a skate ramp.
The alleged incident happened at around 1.30pm on Sunday May 14.
Police said a 10-year-old boy was pushed down a skate ramp at James Dunn Park, also known as Vickerstown Park, on Walney, off the Promenade.
Police later arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on bail.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
