FIREFIGHTERS were called after a lit BBQ was thrown into a bin at a playground on Walney.
The on-call Walney crew was called to two separate fires in the Ocean Road area at around 8.35pm last night. On arrival, firefighters discovered two fires around 100m apart, the second being a disposable BBQ which had been put in the bin in a playground.
