ANIMAL lovers are in for a treat as new pictures of some truly unique animals were taken at a popular nature reserve.
Hearts were sent in a flutter yesterday when South Walney Nature Reserve released pictures of an incredibly fluffy seal pup.

The reserve is known for being the home to scores of grey seals.
Over the past 30 or 40 years, the number of grey seals has rocketed and now more than 100 can lay out on the island's protected beaches at certain times in the year.
However, last year was particularly exciting as the first two seal pups were born on the reserve.
Now the public has been treated to the adorable sight of another seal pup, protected from the wintry winds by its thick, white coat.
Cumbria Wildlife Trust is delighted to be able to get so close to these remarkable creatures and people can share in the experience by checking out the trust's seal web cam.
