POLICE are investigating a Walney incident where a driver failed to stop for officers on Bank Holiday Monday.
A black Audi S3 was driven away at speed along Central Drive in the direction of Thorny Nook.
At about 3.50pm the vehicle was seen behind the allotments near Avon Street where the occupants ran away. The occupants have been described as three white males, of slim build, with shaven hair, wearing dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and a female who was of larger build. They were seen running in the direction of Empress Drive, Walney.
Police are appealing for anybody who is able to identify any of the people seen running away from the vehicle.
