Furness Magistrates Court
A TRIAL will be held to determine whether a defendant is guilty of assaulting a woman.
Colin John Rigg will appear at Furness and District Magistrates Court at 9.30am on Wednesday September 21. The 24-year-old, of Tyne Road, Walney, is accused of assaulting Rosie Sayle on July 3.
Rigg pleaded not guilty to the offence during a hearing held last Thursday. He remains on bail with the condition that he does not contact the alleged victim by any means other than by a third party.
