It's already far too big as it is and we're seeing no benefit for it locally. Saying they'll set up a fund for the community is no good to the average person living in fuel poverty. A huge discount off our electric bill would be more like it.

If they built the bay bridge to Morecambe they could set it up to harness tidal energy at the same time (a continuous source of energy that is largely ignored now in the UK).
