Employees confident in plant security

SELLAFIELD employees who last night left work on a Barrow-bound train showed great confidence in the security measures at their workplace.

One West Cumbrian man who works at the plant said: “The security at Sellafield is very tight, you can’t get anything in or out of there.

“The incident doesn’t concern me.

“There is good very policing there.

“I think this country is handing it (terror threats) pretty well.”

A Barrow man who works at Sellafield said: “The security is immense at Sellafield.

“It (the incident) does not bother me in the slightest.

“There are so many chicanes and barriers at the site you can’t just turn up and get in.”

A fellow worker also from Barrow, said: “Nobody has shown much concern about it.”

I love the way some people respond to views they do not agree with - not with rational debate and arguments but with insults and clichés, although Joe Public's "you lot make my nose bleed" is a new one to me! Sometimes I feel these guys want all offences, however minor, punished by hanging ... or is that too good for these people? lol
