Woman hit by car in Barrow street

A CAR has collided with a pedestrian in a Barrow street.

An Audi A3 hit a female pedestrian in Ainslie Street at around 9.23am on Tuesday December 10.

The woman, from Barrow, aged 25, was understood to have received minor injuries. Police said she was taken by ambulance to Furness General Hospital.

The car was driven by a 43-year-old woman from Barrow.

how can you call this an minor injury when she has got to have surgery. with 2 Plates and Pins inserted. It has also made us cancel our holiday. BUT BEFORE ANY1 STARTS SAYING YOU CAN CLAIM IT WAS AN ACCIDENT and all we want is for her to get better and the woman driver to be ok and nt shook up

She is fine. Has to have surgery 2morrow. 2 pins and plates.
