UPDATE: Traffic delayed by accident in Barrow street

MOTORISTS are facing moderate delays after an accident in a Barrow street.

Traffic going both ways on Rawlinson Street is partially blocked after an accident at the corner of Rawlinson Street and Robert Street.

Police were called to the scene of the acciddent at 1.17pm after a collision between a Ford C-Max driven by a 76-year-old woman from Barrow and a Ford Transit driven by a 49-year-old woman from Broughton.

A police spokesman said there were no injuries.
