Man falls from scaffolding in Askam

A MAN fell from scaffolding in Askam.

A man in his early 20s fell a short distance from scaffolding at Estuary Fine Foods in Duddon Road, and sustained minor injuries.

A police spokesman said officers were called to the scene at 10.14am Tuesday 5 March 2014.

A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service said the man was taken to Furness General Hospital.

Firefighters also attended the incident.
