Ulverston high street store to close permanently

A STORE in Market Street, Ulverston will remain closed after financial troubles.

Blockbuster on Market Street, Ulverston. MILTON HAWORTH REF: 0466609

All remaining UK Blockbuster stores are to close within days after the administrator, Moorfields Corporate Recovery, announced that it was unable to find a buyer.

The Ulverston branch of Blockbuster has been closed for over a week.

DVDs and films are now rented out online more and more and that mainly the reasons for shops like Blockbuster closing down

What a shame. I really enjoyed going in and getting some good film reviews off the staff. They could never help enough, and I always came out with more than I intended! I hope they have all found good jobs, they'd be an asset to any employer.
