A MAN is due in court in Cumbria today charged with making indecent images of children and images depicting people involved in sex acts with eels, dogs and snakes.

Steven Singleton, of the Green, in Levens, is due in South Lakeland Magistrates’ Court facing 11 allegations.

The 55-year-old faces nine counts of making indecent images of children, and two counts of possessing extreme pornographic images showing people committing sex acts with snakes, eels and dogs.

Some of the alleged offences date back to 2004.

It is Singleton’s first court appearance regarding the allegations.
