Distraught owner appeals for help to find lost bird in Ulverston

A PET budgie, beloved by regulars at an Ulverston pub, has gone missing.

Charles the budgie, a familiar face at The Swan Inn in Ulverston, flew out of an open upstairs window at 6.30am today.

He isdescribed as bright yellow with purple cheeks.

Owner Beth Rigby has appealed for the public to keep their eyes peeled and report any sightings to her on 01229 582519 or contact Ulverston Police Station.
