ULVERSTON saxophonist Jess Gillam has announced she is to perform at Proms in the Park in Hyde Park.
The concert will be held in London on September 8, the same night as the star is set to perform in the Royal Albert Hall on the Last Night of the Proms.
She tweeted: "Super excited! As well as performing in the Royal Albert Hall on the Last Night of the Proms, I'll also be performing at Proms in the Park in Hyde Park on the same night.
"Gladys Knight and Lisa Stansfield will be headlining in the park and I'll be playing with the brilliant BBC Concert Orchestra."
Last week, it was announced she will be making her USA debut next year at the Phillips Collection in Washington DC.
The 19-year-old signed a professional record deal with Decca Classics earlier this year, and was one of the star acts at the Classic BRIT awards.
Miss Gillam's talent was shared with the world when she was just 17, after winning the BBC Young Musician of the Year Award, in 2016.
