A PENSIONER is due to appear in court accused of driving while more than two times the legal alcohol limit.
Sion Jair, of Oakwood Drive, Ulverston, has been charged with driving with excess alcohol.
Police pulled over Jair at 12.37am on Sunday January 7 in County Square, Ulverston.
His blue Vauxhall Astra was found to have a severely worn tyre and Jair was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
The 67-year-old is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on January 24.
