A MAN charged with administering a Class A drug to someone who later died has been found not guilty after a trial.
Andrew Paul Makin of Larch Grove in Ulverston was charged with unlawfully and maliciously administering a poison or destructive or noxious thing with intent to injure or aggrieve another.
It was alleged that between July 2 and July 5 of 2015, 51-year-old Makin gave the Class A drug to Jamie Watson.
Makin, who denied the charge, was found not guilty by the jury after a trial which took place in April of this year.
