AN Ulverston man is due to go on trial tomorrow charged with arson.
Jason Tarr, of Kingway, Ulverston, is due to stand trial at Barrow Crown Court tomorrow. The 40-year-old is charged with one count of arson, harassment and two counts of assault by beating.
The arson offences relates to an alleged incident in Ulverston on June 8 in which Tarr is accused of setting fire to a property in New Market Street. The harassment and assault charges relate to incidents said to have taken place in Bolton, Lancashire, and Ulverston between last August and this June.
Tarr is due to appear from custody. He has pleaded not guilty to all four charges.
