AN electrical safety specialist has been praised for its excellent attitude to health and safety.

Bender UK has been given a gold award for its health and safety management from consultancy firm, Peninsula Group. 

The firm, which is based at Low Mill Business Park in Ulverston, received the award in recognition of its commitment to workplace health, safety and welfare its efforts to promote an active health and safety culture among its employees. 

Bender UK has consistently achieved the industry’s flagship standard for occupational health and safety best practice at its headquarters in Ulverston, which houses product testing facilities and delivers sales, service, project management and technical

support.

Jon Lyons, health and safety manager for Bender UK and Bender Ireland, is responsible for ensuring the company meets the highest health, safety and welfare standards within its own premises and importantly when visiting customer client sites across the UK and Ireland.
