SIGNIFICANT delays have hit motorists travelling on the A590 this morning (6) as temporary traffic lights continue to cause more disruption.
The lights were installed at Lindal near the junction with London Road on Sunday morning after a power cut hit the area at around 8pm on Saturday.
This morning, a number of motorists have complained it took them more than one hour and 30 minutes to reach Barrow from Ulverston and now, Stagecoach have reported delays across a number of their services using the A590.
#Barrow just looking at the traffic sensors, The queues through the roadworks at Lindal are stretching back all the way to Ulverston and back past Dalton, this is having a major impact on Svc6 / X6. Out up most apologies if you are waiting for one of these services.
