A LORRY driver is to stand trial after denying driving without due care and attention and crashing into a parked minibus on the A590.
Justin Peel is accused of crashing a Scania LGV wagon into the minibus parked on the verge at the side of the westbound A590 near to Arrad Food on April 16. The crash caused injury to a number of passengers onboard the minibus.
The 43-year-old, of Wordsworth Avenue, Bolton-le-Sands, pleaded not guilty to the offence on October 4 when he appeared at Furness Magistrates' Court yesterday.
A trial has been listed for January 16 at the Barrow court.
