TIME doesn't stand still for young entrepreneurs Sam Graham and Jamie Tweddell.

The ambitious pair are launching their own business selling high-end Swiss watches through their website.

Both Sam, 23, and 24-year-old Jamie work five days a week and will run SwissTimepieces.co.uk in their spare time.

Sam who lives in Barrow-in-Furness and works with BT Openreach, has been dealing watches as a hobby for more than two years. Jamie from Dalton-in-Furness works as a submarine engineer with Babock at the Barrow shipyard.

Sam explained: "Watches are a bit of an obsession for us. I have been dealing them for a couple of years and Jamie is interested so we decided to set up as a business together."

A third silent partner from Newcastle-upon-Tyne is also involved in the enterprise which launches officially on July 28.

Sam added: "There is a multi-million pound industry out there in luxury Swiss watches.

"National retailers are quite restricted and aren't able to offer the same kind of discounts as us. We will be able to provide huge savings on most brands."

Jamie got involved with watches through Sam and together the pair saw a business opportunity.

"Like Sam says it is a bit of an obsession. We are always checking out what watches people are wearing, he said.

"Sam has been interested in watches for a few years as his dad used to collect them. I got into it through him.

"They are luxury accessories much the same as necklaces, bracelets and rings."

Sam and Jamie will work with top brands including TAG Heuer, Breitling, Omega, Zenith and Longines.

Jamie already has his sights set on his personal favourite - a Breitling Navitimer with a cool price tag of £7,500.

"I've got my eye on that so will have to start saving," he said.
