MOTORISTS have been urged to drive with care in icy conditions after police attended a road traffic collision involving five vehicles earlier this evening.
Police were called out at 5:50pm after five cars bumped into one another on the A5092 between Lowick Green and Spark Bridge.
The cars involved included a Vauxhall Vectra, Peugeot 208, Volkswagen Caddy, Audi A1 and Peugeot 308.

None of the drivers suffered any injuries and only one car had to be recovered following the collision.
Ulverston and Furness Police used the incident to warn drivers to slow down and take extra care in the icy conditions.
