The roundabout on the A590 in Ulverston
POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses after a female motorist was involved in a hit-and-run on the A590 in Ulverston.
A Renault Megane was approaching the roundabout near to Booths in Ulverston at around 12.30pm yesterday, on Sunday February 19, when a grey or metallic blue Ford crashed into the back of it.
The two drivers initially stopped, but then the female driver of the Ford left the scene without providing details.
Police believe another vehicle may also have been damaged.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the crash is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
