POLICE are hunting a conman who tricked an elderly Ulverston woman into handing over cash.
The incident happened at around 2pm on Tuesday in Tower Street. An elderly woman was approached by a male who took a deposit to carry out work but failed to return to the property.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
