Emergency services
EMERGENCY services were called today (9) to reports of a motorist taking ill whilst driving on the A590 near Ulverston.
The North West Ambulance Service contacted the police to report the incident at 3:30pm. Paramedics treated the man at the junction of Ulverston Road near Swarthmoor and are taking him to Furness General Hospital to be checked over.
