Harold Roland Saunders
A FURNESS farmer is due in court after being charged with lighting a fire in a lay-by and injuring or endangering a road user.
Harold Roland Saunders, of Grizebeck, is due to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
The 78-year-old is charged with unlawfully lighting a fire on a highway, at a lay-by on the A5092 at Gawthwaite, on May 7. The alleged incident involved a user of the highway being injured or endangered.
