MOTORISTS are being warned of road closures as the final stages to vital improvements on the A590 are set to take place.
A section of Daltongate, Ulverston will be closed to vehicles between its junction with the A590 and Daltongate business centre from August 7 to August 24.
Diversion routes will be signposted and access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and emergency vehicles will be in operation.
Resurfacing work is also expected to take place between 8pm and 6am.
There are no plans for road work to take place on Saturday into Sunday morning or Sunday into Monday morning.
