FOR anyone who is attending the Lantern Festival in Ulverston tonight here is everything you need to know.
For decades people have been able to enjoy the firework finale in Ford Park. However, this year the streets of the town will be turned into a "river of light" with a space age twist.
There are four start locations for the lantern festival. They are at the parish church, in Church Walk; North Lonsdale Terrace; the Hillfoot Hotel car park on the A590; and Central Drive in Croftlands.
The processions will set off from 7.45pm onward, meeting in the town centre by 8.30pm.
Lanterns committee chairman, Chris Nelson, said: "For anyone wanting to see the whole procession, County Square is the best place to stand.
"There you will be able to see all parades as they go past.
"Buxton Place car park is currently empty ready to be filled later with people watching the firework display."
