Crews tackle bedroom fire in Ulverston
Crews tackled a bedroom fire in Ulverston in the early hours of this morning.
Two fire engines from Ulverston were called out to Rydal Road just after midnight.
On arrival the occupants were out of the house and the crews found a small fire in the bedroom.
The service said floorboards and carpet had been on fire. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and a hearth kit to bring the fire under control.
The crews were at the scene for around 30 minutes.
