THE A5087 Coast Road between Barrow and Ulverston has reopened after a two-car collision.
Police were alerted to the crash around 2pm, with the road remaining shut until just before 4pm.
Police said the collision was between two cars, a grey VW Golf, and a silver Ford Focus.
It is understood one of the drivers is from Barrow and the second is from Manchester. Neither of them received serious injuries.
