POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a village pub was burgled during the night.
The Anglers Arms, on Old Barrow Road, Haverthwaite, was targeted overnight.
Cumbria Police confirm cash and charity boxes were stolen in the incident.
It is believed to have occurred between 12.30am and 6am on January 30.
Any witnesses are urged to contact PC 2074 Grierson at Cumbria Police with information on 101, quoting log number 60 of January 30.
