AGENTS are in "advanced negotiations" with a number of parties interested in buying a former bank branch in Ulverston.
The former HSBC branch in Ulverston has stood empty since November of last year when the bank withdrew its services from the town.
Since then there has been no indication of a prospective buyer taking up the location, in spite of its location on the corner of New Market Street.
However, the commercial advertisers for the property CBRE, have now indicated there are several interested parties looking at the site.
A spokesman said: "The property in Ulverston is currently on the market. The marketing is on-going and we are in advanced negotiations with a number of interested parties at this stage."
