Ulverston police investigate mobile phone theft

POLICE are investigating the theft of a mobile phone at an Ulverston shop over the weekend.

An iPhone was taken at the Co-operative Food at about 4pm on Saturday August 23.

The victim was visiting the area on holiday and wants the safe return of the phone’s memory card due to there being sentimental photographs taken from a wedding on it.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Cumbria Police helpdesk on 101, quoting log reference number 153 of August 25.
