Ulverston man swore at staff in Barrow shop

A 69-YEAR-OLD man swore at staff in a shop while he was drunk, a court was told.

Peter Loney, of New Market Street, Ulverston, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in public at Furness Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

The court heard that Loney was aggressive towards staff at Marks and Spencer in Dalton Road, Barrow, on 3.15pm on December 23, and was falling over in the shop.

He was fined £50, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
