Two more lucky Evening Mail readers scoop prizes

TWO lucky winners are celebrating after bagging the Evening Mail’s latest prizes.
Janette Benn scooped the £250 jackpot in a competition with the Evening Mail.
The mum-of-two is now planning a weekend trip in the early summer with her husband Brian and some friends.
The 51-year-old, of Clarence Road, Barrow, said: “I was really surprised. I often enter the Evening Mail competitions. It tends to be the voucher collection ones.
“Whenever they are in I try and do them. I won a TV a couple of years ago as well!”
Meanwhile, Hilary Tyson scooped herself a 16GB iPad 4 in our reverse auction.
The gadget is worth hundreds of pounds, but Mrs Tyson believes the lowest of her four bids was just 42p.
The fact she is unfamiliar with using an iPad should not be a problem, because Mrs Tyson’s son James has just bought an iPad of his own and will help her get started.
The lucky winner, of Sandy Lane, Askam, said: “I’ve never used a computer in my life before, so I will have to get set up on the internet now.
“I do all the competitions – lots with the Evening Mail and others as well. I’ve actually just won another prize with Sky, but that was just a DVD.
“It’s like any competition, you just have to have a go and it’s just luck.”
