Summer sun set to continue in South Cumbria

BARROW and South Cumbria are set to bask in summer sun until at least the weekend.

Temperatures could reach highs of 27 degrees by mid afternoon today and the Met Office has forecasted temperatures of 26 degrees on both Thursday and Friday with night time temperatures of between 17 degrees and 15 degrees.

Weekend weather is expected to be over cast but temperatures are expected of 23 degrees on Saturday and 21 degrees on Sunday.

Hay fever sufferers have been warned the pollen count today and tomorrow is high but the levels are set to fall to moderate over the weekend.
