Serious road incident closes A684 at Sedbergh in Cumbria

A SERIOUS accident has closed the A684 at Sedbergh, near Kendal.

The accident occurred at about 3pm, about two miles out of Sedbergh towards Hawes.

It is not known how many vehicles were involved or the extent of any injuries but motorists should avoid the area.

The A684 in Garsdale Head is closed and there is queueing traffic in both directions between the Cock Brow junction and the B6259 junction.
