Police swoop on Barrow house

POLICE are carrying out inquiries at a house in Barrow.

Officers entered a house on Fenton Street at 6.30pm.

Two police cars, a marked police van and a mobile CCTV unit were involved in the operation.

Officers were seen talking to a young man outside before entering the property.

An officer at the scene said: “We are carrying out inquiries relating to an incident reported to us by a member of the public.”
