Police hunting drivers who smashed into cars and left the scene in Dalton

POLICE are hunting two drivers who smashed into cars in Dalton and then left the scene.

Both incidents took place last night.

the first happened on Market Street between 7.15pm and 7.30pm where a dark blue Mercedes was hit by an unknown vehicle and left damaged.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Stacey Bell.

The next took place at Tudor Square. A sliver Peurgeot 308 had its wing mirror damaged after being hit by another vehicle at about 8.25pm.

The officer investigating the incident is PC Ross Keenan.

If you saw what happened or have any information call the officers at barrow police station on 101.
