Police hunt three men who threatened another male with a large knife in Barrow

POLICE are hunting three men who threatened another male with a large knife in Barrow.

Officers say a resident in Egerton Court opened his door to the trio about 5.15pm on Saturday.

The males were brandishing the weapon and made threats to the Barrow Island man before he slammed the door shut and called the police.

The men then left the scene.

The first male is described as about 5ft 8in and of a solid build with jet black hair, the second man had short fair hair, was aged about 18 and was wearing a tracksuit. The third was about 23, 6ft tall and of a large build.

Police are treating the incident as an affray and anyone with information is asked to contact PC Callum Lennox at Barrow police station on 101.
