Police are appealing for witnesses after a Barrow car smash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a Barrow car smash.

It happened sometime between late on Sunday and the early hours of Monday near the White Lion pub, in School Street, Barrow.

A white Ford Transit van was hit on the rear passenger side by another vehicle.

The van was left damaged and the other driver failed to stop or report the accident to police.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time who could have information to help trace the culprit to get in touch.
