Police appeal after driver and binmen argue in Barrow street

Police have appealed for information after a disagreement between a Barrow driver and a crew of binmen turned hostile.

The driver of a black Vauxhall Corsa became annoyed when his exit from the rear of Barrow Island School in Farm Street was blocked by a refuse wagon on Wednesday February 12 at 9.10am.

This led to an altercation between the driver and the crew.

No one was injured and no damage was caused but police would like to speak to any witnesses to the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101.

Have your say

Ruth you are correct,

Why can't Binmen go about their business of throwing stuff all over the place, why did this man intervene....The world has gone mad.
