A WOMAN from Millom is being prosecuted for allegedly failing to pick up dog dirt.
Vanessa Hays, of Marine View in Haverigg, is due in court on Monday.
The 45-year-old has been charged with failing to remove dog faeces from designated land.
The charge states that Hays failed to pick up her dog's dirt from a grassed area at Silecroft Beach car park on April 28 of this year.
The case is being prosecuted by Copeland Borough Council.
