TWO teenagers have been charged with robbery at a post office in west Cumbria.
Two male offenders dressed in black with their faces covered, and carrying knives threatened a staff member at Ravenglass Post Office at 10.20am on Wednesday.
The pair made off with an unknown amount of money.
Reece Kirk, 19, of Murrayfield Terrace, Ravenglass, and a 17-year-old male have been charged with robbery.
They are due to appear at Carlisle Magistrates' Court later today.
Detective Chief Inspector Roy Ledingham, of West Cumbria CID, said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of the post office in Ravenglass between 10am and 10.30am that noticed anything suspicious.
"No matter how insignificant you may deem your information, it may help our enquiries so please do not hesitate to get in touch."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 and ask to speak to an officer from West Cumbria CID.
