A DATE has been set for the trial of a man alleged to have caused £2,063 of damage by setting a cell on fire at a South Cumbria prison.
Michael Grogan is accused of committing arson at HMP Haverigg on November 29 last year. The 59-year-old, of no fixed abode, appeared at Furness and District Magistrates Court last Thursday (30).
The case has been sent to Preston Crown Court for trial on Friday April 28.
