Hearing: Preston Crown Court
A 62-YEAR-OLD man has gone on trial accused of a historical sex offence in which he is alleged to have inappropriately touched a young girl.
Christopher Kershaw's trial started at Preston Crown Court yesterday.
It is alleged that Kershaw intentionally touched an eight-year-old girl between January 1 and December 31, 2011, in Millom.
Kershaw, of Duke Street, Whitehaven, has denied the charge and the trial is due to continue today.
