Police investigate after Millom tot hit in the head by food missile
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Millom.
Police are investigating an incident where an 18-month-old child was struck in the head with an item of food thrown as a missile.
The assault is believed to have taken place between 5.30pm and 5.35pm outside Tesco on Friday December 23.
Police are asking for any member of the public with information on this incident to contact them on 101, and ask for PC 1669 Stephen Rogac.
Information can also be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
